Awake Changes...
This blog was started as a place for an online Bible Study for the young moms group at our church. For the past 2 years, I have lead this group at church with the blog, Girls Nights Out and Play Days.
Due to my new crazy schedule

The original awake blog will still be open and functional for those of you who may be reading a past series or looking for a specific past blog. All blog buttons (Sink Verses, Get Joy...) will still link bloggers back to the original awake young moms site. (if you are comfortable with html, you can change the blog link addresses on your buttons to the new one if you would like to!)
Your comments and insights are so valuable as we sharpen each other in Christ.
And, I will be posting the winners of the latest giveaway on My Awake Journey tomorrow night! So, visit me there!
Due to my new crazy schedule
- homeschooling
- leading girls ministries on Wednesday nights
- working toward getting my credentials with the Assemblies of God
awake is going to be moving into new hands at church which is exciting because change is a GREAT thing!
I would love to continue this blog as it has become so much more to me than an online Bible Study. It has become a place of deep, meaningful, personal growth. As I study and prepare a post, God is revealing himself to me and I am learning more every day.
To reflect this change, I needed to change the blog address. So, I created...

At My Awake Journey, I will keep blogging in a devotional style and it will be for all women.
I would encourage you to head over, take a look around and would love for my "followers" to follow me there as I continue my awake journey with you! Feel free to grab the button code in the right side-bar and share this devotional blog with others.

Psalm 86
Just sharing a few verses from Psalm 86 today...
"Teach me your way, O LORD, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever."
Dig into this chapter today... get a cup of coffee, sit down with your Bible and a pen and expect God to encourage you today through this special chapter of scripture.
That is my prayer. To seek HIM with an undivided heart.
*I also love how my daughter's NIrV Bible writes Psalm 86 - what a great chapter to study with your kids as they start school! God is good and faithful and we can trust who He is! We should go after God with our whole hearts even when those around us are seeking other things. As you study this chapter, share your insights with your kids today.
"Bring joy to your servant, for to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul."
